Passionate about the Ocean from a young age, I pursued a degree in Marine Biology at the University of Hawaii at Manoa (UHM), focusing on coral reefs, coastal ecosystems, and oceanography. I worked as an education and outreach coordinator for the American Cetacean Society student coallition, a laboratory assistant at Kewalo Marine Laboratory and volunteered at Waikiki Aquarium while swimming for the University. I am also a DiveMaster and am AAUS certified allowing me to help with several projects at UCSD Scripps, SDSU and UHM. My journey led me to become a Channel Swimmer, completing the Catalina Channel, and to pursue a master's in Aquaculture at the University of Miami, where I learned to manage hatcheries and aquaculture business. On this site you'll find my marine photography, information on sustainable aquaculture, and updates on my Channel Swims, including my current training for the Kaiwi Channel.
I also enjoy doing walks on the beach some times you can find neat creatures on the shoreline...
